Forth in Praise has been set up by the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh Liturgy Commission to give support to parish music-making. To date, it has concerned itself with the following three aspects:

Training Events

These are organised two or three times a year to help musicians in all fields improve their own particular skills and widen their knowledge of music available. These occasions also provide a chance for musicians to get together with their colleagues in other parishes.

Forth in Praise

Music by composers from within the Archdiocese is published under the 'Forth in Praise' imprint.

Music Newsletter

This is issued twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, and includes details of all forthcoming events and of Forth in Praise publications.

Latest News

We have a new Website! Forth in Praise now has its own website, which will link to the Liturgy Commission's, rather than be a part of it. This means much more space for newsletters, pictures and information.

The Spring Newsletter is in production and will be published shortly.
